Carrington Way is a HUD-subsidized affordable housing community in Newark, Delaware, serving both families and seniors. Through the HUD rental assistance program, qualified residents generally pay approximately 30% of their adjusted monthly income toward rent, subject to program requirements. For households with very limited income, rent may be as low as $25 per month. HUD assistance covers the remaining approved rent amount, helping make quality housing affordable and accessible. Located at 100 Kimberton Drive, Carrington Way offers convenient access to schools, shopping, dining, healthcare services, and major roadways, providing residents with comfortable apartment living in a well-connected community for both families and seniors.

We are not accepting applications for our 1- and 3-Bedroom apartments, due to a long waitlist. We will begin accepting applications again once the waitlist shortens. The waitlist for 2-bedroom units is open, with an estimated wait time of 1–2 years.
